Hey M Girls!
The wait is over -- Shake It Up season three premieres tonight at 9 p.m. (EST) on the Disney Channel! In "Fire it Up", the Shake it Up Chicago set catches on fire and Cece thinks it might've been her fault! Meanwhile, Gunther's gone back to the old country, so Tinka tries to work on her friendships with Cece and Rocky! When we chatted with Caroline Sunshine to this week, she gave us a rundown on Tinka's life without Gunther and season three of Shake it Up!
M: What can we expect to see in season three of Shake it Up?
Caroline: Everything that you love is still there: all the dancing, all the costumes, and the great characters. Everything you love is still there, just with new kinds of twists and turns, so hopefully you'll like season three as much as I do!
M: How is Tinka different now that Gunther is gone?
Caroline: Tinka is still in Chicago pursuing her dream of becoming a professional dancer on Shake it Up Chicago. It's interesting because it's still the same Tinka that you love. She's sassy and says whatever is on her mind even though she probably shouldn't! Her fashion is as Tinka as ever, if not even more Tinka-fied. You get to see a different side of her too. She's in a new situation where she doesn't have her other half with her. She has to make friends and go outside of her comfort zone! It's exciting because you get to see the new friendships she makes with all the other characters on our show. You see a new frenemy/friendship form with Rocky and Cece, a new relationship form with little Flynn, which is awesome, hysterical, and I just love it! Ty Blue actually becomes a friend who definitely has Tinka's back in season three.
M: Will there be any super special guest stars this season?
Caroline: We don't just have one or two guest stars this season, we have A LOT of guest stars -- MAJOR guest stars this season. I'm really excited because they're people I wanted to have on our show -- performers and actors I admire and ones I really like, so it's cool that they get to be on our show!
This season sounds fantastic and we can't wait to tune in!
