Hey M Girls,
We were able to chat with Cartoon Network's Shauna Case this week! Shauna is featured on the new comedy show, Incredible Crew, but she has a lot more in store!
This little prankster gave us the scoop on her new single, 'Some Kind of Fairytale,' as well as giving us a behind the scenes look into her life!
M: We love your song "Some Kind of Fairytale", can you tell us a little bit about the lyrics and what the song is about?
S: Yeah, the song is about me and my journey moving from Pennsylvania to California. It really just shows my experience, you know, wanting to chase my dreams, wanting to be fearless. To go after what I always wanted to go after and be an actress and singer and performer. So the song, actually, is really just an inspiration for kids my age to just go for what they want to do in their life and chase their dreams.
M: Cool, are there any singers that you look up to or who inspire you?
S: Yeah, I definitely look up to Selena Gomez because I just love how she balances her acting and her singing career so gracefully. She's an amazing actress and recording artist as well. I think to be able to do both so great is really an inspiration and it really inspires me to chase my dreams as an actress and a singer and do them both.
M: That's awesome. Besides singing, you've been acting on the new sketch series Incredible Crew. Can you tell a little bit about what the show is about?
S: Yeah! Incredible Crew is a sketch comedy show - a live action sketch comedy show - on Cartoon Network. It's on Thursday night at 8 p.m. We have so many elements on the show. It's super unique and one of it's kind. We have no live audience or downtime in the show, so it's really really fast paced. We have elements like original music videos, commercials, parodies, hidden camera pranks, and the sketches themselves, so every couple minutes in the show you're getting something new thrown at you. It's a sketch show so it's super fun and who doesn't love to laugh? It's definitely an awesome show!
M: Can you tell us about any embarrassing moments that happened on set so far?
S:I love pranking people not only on the show, but on set and thank goodness the cast and crew are all really close...There was this time when we were outside filming and our producer, Mikey Day, he hates bees. So, I had this soundboard on my phone with bee sounds and I put it behind his ear and he was like, 'Ohhh!' and he jumped and ran. It was so funny!
M: How funny! Do you have a celebrity crush right now?
S: I'm not too boy crazy, but I gotta say I think everyone can agree Zac Efron is heaven sent! He's so cute, so I'd definitely say he's a crush.
