Did you catch Selena Gomez on yesterday's episode of Ellen? In addition to a great performance of "Come and Get It" in the prettiest purple maxi dress we ever did see, Selena used her interview as an opportunity to tell Ellen all about her starstruck run-in with Brad Pitt at Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards.

"I was in my dressing room and I had just finished performing," recalled Selena. "They knocked on my door and they said, 'Brad Pitt would like to come in,' and I was like, 'He can come in.' I was trying to play it cool and be really nice." Surprisingly, Gomez couldn't play it "cool" for more than a few minutes -- "As soon as he walked out, I ran and I hid under the craft service table for, like, two minutes because I couldn't believe it was happening."

Jennifer Lawrence had a similar experience as Selena Gomez, except with John Stamos, the actor best known as Uncle Jesse from Full House. After running into Stamos at a party, the Oscar-winning actress explained, "I didn't want to meet him because when I meet people it's never good, and I was avoiding him. But then my friends brought him over because my friends are jerks, and I started really freaking out. And he asked me if I was on mushrooms and I said, 'No. This is just me.'"
Last but not least, we have the one and only Justin Bieber, who found himself starstruck upon meeting hockey legend Wayne Gretzky. During an appearance on The Talk, a surprised Bieber's draw dropped as the athlete walked out for a quick game of air hockey. After Gretzky left the stage, Justin bashfully asked his hosts, "Why'd you do that? You made me look like a groupie or something!"
If we can learn anything from Selena, Jennifer, and Justin, it's that feeling starstruck is completely normal -- even celebrities are in awe of celebrities!
