It's M intern Jen here giving you the exclusive deets from my chat with Billboard charting singer Kady Z! With her single, "Beautiful Disaster" that reached #53 on the Billboard 'Hot 100' chart and a debut album due out this fall, she's ready to take the music scene by storm!
In the meantime, we'll be enjoying her current EP called, "One Million Pieces" which is out on iTunes now! Kady Z grew up around music has been singing since she was only 3 years old! She describes her musical style as, "dance music that you could listen to when you're at home and you're feeling sad - it will make you feel better!" How awesome it that?!

M: Let's start with your single. What was the inspiration behind it?
Kady: Yes, my single "Beautiful Disaster" is about just love and that one person. It's that big love but you have to take the good with the bad. You know, it's just about making it work. If you love someone it's not going to be perfect
M: So far, what are you most proud of?
Kady: I'm really proud of the fact that I have all these fans that tweet me all the time and they're so sweet! I feel like...it makes me proud that I could make their day better, like a response from me makes them feel happy. You know because it's a hard time when you're 15 years old and you're kind of like figuring yourself out. So if you could have someone that can inspire you and make you feel better in that one moment when you're down.
M: What advice would you give someone who wanted to get into music but didn't know where to start?
Kady: You have to start obviously with yourself and with what you really want to do. At the end of the day, you're going to be singing the songs every night. You're going to be, you know stuck with that and if you don't really love doing it and if you don't really love going through the process of figuring it out then you're going to hate it. So you really have to be happy with what you're doing and you have to be...I don't know...you have to invest. You have to be invested.
M: What song are you currently obsessed with?
Kady: OK this isn't maybe that current - it's kind of current, "Payphone" by Maroon 5. I love that song. It's a great song.
