During my freshman year of high school I ended up in a chemistry class with only four other freshmen, and the rest were sophomores and juniors. I quickly developed a crush on one of the juniors, and even found out that he lived on my block! I didn't have the nerve to talk to him, but would walk past his house with my BFFs while he was outside. One Saturday, while my family was over, my aunt decided to go for a drive. When we drove past my crush's house, my aunt spotted him, drove in reverse, and parked right in front of him. She rolled down the window pointed him out and say "You, cutie in the blue shirt, we're having a party a couple houses down, and my niece would love it if you stopped by." He obviously never showed up to the party, and I spent the rest of the school year avoiding him!

During the summer, I spent a lot of time with grandparents.
They live in a gated community with its own golf course. My grandparents'
neighbor has a really hot grandson that is around my age. One day we decided to
take our grandparents' golf carts around the block for a race. I was trying really
hard to impress my crush, and did a pretty good job until we got back to the
houses. I tried to pull into the driveway, but instead I ran right over his
grandpa's mailbox! To make things worse, when I tried to back off of the
mailbox, I ended up backing right into my crush's golf cart! Worst. Day. Ever.

Each year for my birthday, my parents like to do something extra special for me. This year, their idea of special was not exactly what I expected. My birthday was on a Wednesday, and my parents said after school they would take me out to eat. When I walked out of the school my dad was waiting at the doors...with a dozen balloons! We had to walk all the way from the school to our car across the street with all of the students pointing and laughing at me! To make things worse, when we got to the car it was decorated with streamers, balloons and paint that spelt out "Happy Birthday Annie!" It was nice of my parents, but I really didn't need that much attention. OMG! I jumped in the backseat and cried! Def not my favorite b-day.

Hey M Girls,

Tonight is the night we've been waiting for forever -- the premiere of season two of X Factor starring Demi Lovato and Britney Spears as brand new judges! Be sure to tune in on Fox at 8pm ET for the big show!

M was lucky enough to chat with Demi and Simon Cowell (yup -- THE man behind One Direction!) all about the show. Check out our Q&A below:

M: What have you learned from the past from your he-uge stars, like One Direction that has helped you with the new season of the show?

Simon Cowell: I've learned over the years, because I've done these shows a long time, whether it's One Direction, or Cher Lloyd, or Susan Boyle, or Leona Lewis, you've got to take your time making the record. You can't rush anything out. Importantly, you just have to make a great album and that's what we're doing at the moment with Melanie. I think she's a great artist and I've heard some of the future cuts. They sound incredible. It's always our aim, like we've done with One Direction, it's not just to have a hit record off the back of a show, it's launch an artist worldwide and to compete with everybody else out there. That's what we try to do every year when we make this show.

M: Demi, what do YOU think it takes to become a super-star?

Demi: I think you have to go through so much to be able to make it to where you are. You have to make a lot of sacrifices. You have to be willing to not get a lot of sleep and to have to choose--like I said, make some sacrifices and work very, very, very hard. I'm thankful for where I am today, but I think a part of this competition is we also have to--a part of mentoring, we have to make the artist in the competition realize that it's not just about getting on stage and who has the best voice and who has the best performance. It's about making a pop star, and ultimately, signing someone who has what it takes performance-wise and also drive-wise.

M: So Dem, does being an X Factor judge live up to all of the hype?

Demi: It's everything that I thought it would be and more because I always thought it would be so much fun and difficult, but at the same time, you're in a position that you're mentoring people. You're trying to give them the best advice possible so that they can be groomed into this pop star that you know they can be. It's a lot more challenging than I thought it would be, but I am very excited of putting everything that I have into it. It's going to be a really great show. I'm excited to see it. But it's funner to work on.

It's finally here! Justin Bieber's second book, "Just Getting Started" hits stores today -- and we can confirm, it's totally juicy! Inside, Justin dishes about everything from the paparazzi to being in the spotlight to crazy rumors about his life.

This is a tricky sitch! You need to remember that you and your BGF are good friends, but also keep in mind why you broke up after two weeks. Chat with your BGF about the breakup and ask him why he wanted to know who you like. He shouldn't lead you on if he doesn't want to try dating you again, but he could just be asking because you're close friends! Either way, talk to your BGF about the situation -- it's the only way you'll get a direct answer. You've already had the first awkward "do you like me?" convo, so this one will definitely be easier! By the end of the conversation, hopefully you'll know where your relationship is headed! Let me know how it goes!
